Received Japan’s first “SDGs maturity evaluation registration certificate”

Balboa Studio Inc.has been working to learn and think about the SDGs one by one.

In November 2020, the Japan CRS Association evaluated the maturity level of SDGs activities with quantitative goal management and was granted the first registration certificate in Japan for the “SDGs maturity evaluation”.

We received a 4-star evaluation on a 5-star scale, and received a “two-star” evaluation registration certificate.

In the future, we will actively work on further improvement.

WHAT’S SDGs?

SDGs is an abbreviation for “Sustainable Development Goals”. SDGs are the successor to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) established in 2001, and by 2030 described in the “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” adopted at the United Nations Summit in September 2015. It is an international goal that aims for a sustainable and better world. Consisting of 17 goals and 169 targets, it pledges to leave no one behind. The SDGs are universal, not only for developing countries, but also for developed countries themselves, and Japan is also actively working on them.

Of the 17 goals of the SDGs, the following five items were evaluated and certified.

We will continue to keep in mind how all of our employees can contribute to the development goals of the SDGs, and will work to make better proposals.
